Mrs. Barbara Musinski
Mrs. Barbara Musinski (Pretzer) was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to James and Donna Pretzer of Hemlock, Michigan. She attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Hemlock for kindergarten through eighth grade. Barbara graduated from Hemlock High School and then obtained an Associate in Computer Science from Delta College.
Barbara Pretzer and her husband were joined in Christian marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hemlock – Barbara’s hometown. The Lord has blessed Barb and her husband with 3 children.
Barbara became active in the childcare program at Divine Grace in August 1989, and has in the years since been blessed with the early childhood ministry. Barbara completed an Associate in Early Childhood Development and earned a Bachelors degree in education from Baker College in 2012.
Barbara is excited and eager to serve our gracious God together with the members of Divine Grace. She is praying that her time here at Divine Grace will prove to be a joy and blessing, all to the glory of God.
Mrs. Debbie Baker
Mrs. Debbie Baker is the teacher of our 3-year old preschool children. When presumed to not be able to have children, God blessed Debbie with a miracle child, Scott, in 1986. He attended preschool, the Baker’s joined the church, and Debbie started working in the preschool over 20 years ago.
Mrs. Baker is accredited with a CDA (Child Development Associates Credential) certificate and has been working in our Daycare and Preschool since 1993. She has an extreme love and passion for children. The relationships she builds with her preschoolers is second to none, as evident of the way her former and current students interact with her.
Outside of the devout love for the Lord and His children, Mrs. Baker also enjoys camping, trail walks, working on her flowerbeds, sewing, and cooking.
Debbie continues to be excited to serve the Lord with her time here at Divine Grace!
Mrs. Ann Chalker
Mrs. Ann Chalker met her husband online when she was in Wisconsin and he in Michigan. They were married in 1998 and moved to Ann Arbor. They were blessed with a daughter, Lilly, in 2000. They moved to Clarkston two years later, and became members of Divine Grace Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Chalker started working at Divine Grace as an assistant teacher and latchkey helper in 2006, and currently continues to work in the same capacity. She feels so blessed to share in the lives of all the children at Divine Grace in preschool on up through the grades in latchkey.
